Web development has come a long way since I got my degree in 2002! Back then, we were hand-coding entire websites in html and JavaScript. There was no WordPress, no PHP. New technologies have simplified web development. But the basic principles are the same. The site has to look good, the functionality has to work correctly, and the content has to be high quality.
I began my career in editorial content, have worked extensively in WordPress and other blogging software, and have also worked with the major content management systems.

“Kristina and I worked together for all of her time at Gartner in one capacity or another. We were able to tag team our work so that we could cover for each other, which was important because we both wore a lot of hats at the company. Even when Kristina moved over to the Social Media team, she kept informed about all of our content management initiatives so that she could step in at a moments notice. We had a great working relationship, and I strongly suggest that any company that hires her will get a strong, talented, persistent and hard-working employee.” — Hakan Strom, Web Content Manager, Gartner, worked directly with Kristina at Gartner
“I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kristina on the Executive Picks project during her time as web content manager at Gartner. This was a new undertaking for the company, which grew from an idea into a value added deliverable for our members. It included project planning, the creation of materials and processes and the selection and training of Service Delivery associates. With Kristina’s dedication and follow-through, the project and subsequent submissions happened on schedule with careful attention to detail. We produced an excellent and well received new deliverable. It was a pleasure working with Kristina, and I would highly recommend her for any content management position requiring editorial savvy and web expertise. ” — Denise Weaver, Sr. Director, Gartner, worked with Kristina at Gartner
“Kristina is an expert web content manager with the keen eye of a professional editor.” — Jeremey Donovan, managed Kristina indirectly at Gartner
